X-ray Imaging
X-ray Free Electron Lasers (XFELs) can be used to image
aperiodic nanoscale objects like biomolecules. We develop
and implement algorithms to achieve this.

Proteins crystals are not perfectly ordered. This
disorder produces diffuse scattering which is used to
extract structural and dynamic information.
Many diffraction experiments at XFELs produce a heterogenous
collection of patterns which need to be classified and
averaged to extract relevant information.
Atomic fluorescence can generate transient interference
patterns, containing a unique combination of spatial and
spectroscopic information.
